New members can earn 50,000 bonus points after making at least $2,000 in eligible net purchases within the first three months that your account is open. You also receive an additional 6,000 points after each cardmember anniversary. Members earn double points per dollar spent on Southwest Airlines purchases as well as on qualifying transactions at participating Hotel and Rental Car partners. All other purchases earn one point per dollar. There is no cap on the amount of points you may earn and points do not expire. There are no foreign transaction fees charged when using the card outside of the U.S. and it is chip-enabled for enhanced security. There is a $99 annual fee which is applied to your first billing statement.

All other purchases earn one mile per dollar spent. You also receive the first checked bag free and priority boarding. Members are not charged foreign transactions fees when using the card abroad. There is an annual fee of $95 which is waived for the first year.

Cardholders receive a free first checked bag (as do up to six additional passengers on your reservation).
